About Plastpro

Plastpro is a fiberglass door manufacturer headquartered in Los Angeles, California. Founded in 1994 by Shirley Wang, the company was spun off from the windows and doors division of Nan Ya Plastics Corp., a sister company of Taiwan-based Formosa Plastics Group. Plastpro specializes in fiberglass entry doors.

In 2005, Plastpro opened a 250,000-square-foot automated manufacturing facility in Ashtabula, Ohio, capable of producing up to one million finished doors per year. The company has introduced several industry firsts, including the first fiberglass door with composite stiles and rails and HydroShield technology.

Qualifying energy-efficient Plastpro fiberglass entry doors can provide federal tax credits under Section 25C. The credit covers 30% of product and installation costs, with a maximum of $250 per door and $500 annually for all exterior doors combined.
